The Beauty of the Female Anatomy

Many women have little relationship with their vulvas and a lot have shame associated with their female anatomy. The female anatomy is a marvel, often overlooked for its beauty and the incredible things that it is capable of!


The group Duvet Days set out to open our eyes and inspire conversation, specifically about domestic violence and the presence of rape culture in our society. The organization seeks to raise awareness breaking through the silence and ‘taboo’ the revolves around the discussion of the female anatomy. The result? A serious of beautiful images that truly work to help women recognize and embrace the beauty within their own bodies.


The founder of the organization, Jenna Wiehe, is also a survivor of sexual and domestic abuse, viewing Duvet Days as an opportunity to reach women facing similar challenges in life. A unique approach to spreading awareness, Wiehe and the Duvet Days don’t focus on reaching just anyone, they aim to connect with women – providing them with the understanding and appreciation for their own bodies.
