Exploring Orgasmic Yoga - Your path to consciouss self-love

" I would like to define the workshop a “safe place”.
Thanks, Julia for leading us to the creation of this space on Saturday.
I experienced a tribal feeling of community that activated trust and confidence to allow me to explore my sexual-self and erotic-self without the burden of a culture far away from woman's nature.
I felt a wild, wise, ancient woman moving to regain the right of a healthy relationship with her sexuality.
Now I see the need of bringing more respect, pleasure and sweetness to the practice of masturbation that is often hurt from disrespect, ignorance and loneliness from inside and outside us.
I believe that it will bring more respect, pleasure and sweetness to my life, maybe to your lives, to the couple and to the world too!
I am very grateful for being part of this experience.
Thanks to the beautiful work of NAKED medicine,
amazing connections were created."   -   Giulia, 29

Our ability to experience, feel, and receive pleasure is an essential aspect of life as a human being. Pleasure can be obtained from our intimate and casual relationships with others, from sex, from our work, from food, from sport, from hobbies, from passions in life such as dance, music, singing, touch or the relaxation. But it begins with us in the act of knowing and loving ourselves.

We are born with a natural sense of innocence and pleasure. For many of us, unfortunately, the experiences we have in life keep us from pleasure. We may judge him wrong, we fear him, others judge him or disapprove him when expressed. Church, family, or culture tell us that it is wrong, we are punished for pleasure, and sometimes we are dramatically disconnected or we forget / block the possibility of pleasure.

This day's workshop is an opportunity to learn all the things they've never told you about our bodies in our school, our sexual energy, our genitals - what they're made of and what they do, how we can feel pleasure in our bodies not just in our genitals, why it is sometimes difficult to feel pleasure without fantasy, what are the consequences of pornography in our sex lives today, why many of us still feel disconnected from our bodies because many of us still feel shame around of sex and self-pleasure? This is a day of information, learning, letting go inhibitions, discovering that we are not alone in our confusions and struggles with our body and sex, question and answer session, many new skills to take home and a practice wearing Orgasmic Yoga .

I would love for you to join me if you feel the call.

What does this entail?
This is a safe space where you can participate as much as you feel comfortable. The event is a practiced dress. We are beings capable of ecstatic expansive pleasure if we allow ourselves to. From this experiential day, you will have more information about how your sexual energy, genitals, and body work. You will be able to see more clearly what is on this path, how to change things and thus play and expand your sexual energy and excitement. I will share the basis for the Orgasmic Yoga Practice - self-pleasure or conscious masturbation, practice allows you to orchestrate moments of relaxation with moments of excitement using breathing, sound, movement, pelvic floor wrapping, intention and mindfulness. I will share information about female and male genital anatomy and patterns of sexual arousal / orgasm, such as overcoming boredom, distraction, and shame. Then we will have a training session with an Orgasmic Yoga meditation, you may be surprised at how much you can feel with your clothes! This is an invitation to:

  • Learn to feel more sexual and sensual pleasure in your body and in your life.

  • A greater understanding of how to be present when making love with yourself or with others.

  • Learn how to spread sexual energy throughout your body

  • Understand your genital anatomy better. How it works.

  • Experience deeply gratifying self-pleasure without boredom or shame.

What are the Benefits of Orgasmic Yoga Practice?
Feel and reconnect with your body as a source of wisdom, happiness and freedom. Create self-control and independence, weave / connect the heart and genitals, free yourself from the need for fantasies and images for excitement and help break old patterns so you can feel and allow more pleasure in your body.

Why give pleasure to myself?
We are naturally open and expansive, unfortunately for many of us, we are accustomed to depending on others to experience sexual pleasure. This is not a form that empowers us as sexual beings in this world, can lead to sometimes poor choices around partners, lack and lack of self-confidence. Often we can make tacit agreements with others that they are somehow responsible for our peace, pleasure, satisfaction and integrity and that in return we are responsible for them. Any other way to celebrate our unique, sexual, potent and perfect being is veiled with guilt and shame. By changing our belief system that we are complete, and that love, joy, and satisfaction are found within each of us, we create a healthy basis of self-esteem, trust, and dignity. Approaching and learning about your sexual energy and power is a way to take responsibility for your own life and pleasure, and thrive as a human being instead of feeling dependent on another person. The main focus of PYO (Orgasmic Yoga Practice) is to help you access ecstatic transformational states through erotic self-touch. Change the way you masturbate - change your life!

What is a Sexological Bodyworker?
We are somatic sexual educators, supporting individuals, couples and groups learning to direct their own erotic development, learn about their bodies, sex and sexuality, or work through sexual issues or concerns.
We offer experiential learning opportunities that consciously access deep erotic and erotic states. Our teaching involves a variety of instructional modalities, including breathing, touching, erotic massage, pelvic release work, scar tissue remediation, and Orgasmic Yoga training.
One of the somatic realms that Sexological Bodyworkers introduce to our students is a state of excitement that is fantasy-free, unfinished emotional business, religious dogma, cultural caveats, and habitual sexual behavior. In this meditative state, an individual becomes conscious of the body as a source of wisdom and freedom. One way to access this fruitful state is to actively receive a Taoist Erotic Massage, to help others access and use a variety of erotic states is critical to the education we offer.

Julia Pessis
I currently offer workshops and sessions to private clients in Lisbon and Sintra. I trained in somatic sex education, learned how the body works and how we respond to desire and pain. I learned about limits and consent, I found my voice and my intuition, which helps me to know what (and for whom) I move in that direction and distance. I have learned a lot about different ways of being sexual and expressing my sexuality, and each time I undo layers of shame that prevent me from actually being myself. I want to help awaken people so that future generations grow up with less shame, more security and more freedom to be who they want to be. This change begins with us and with our bodies, begins with more pleasure and doing so today.
Julia is certified as Sexological Bodyworker ™ by the Institute for Somatic Sexology. Tantra Therapy & Healing, Massage & Bodywork from the European Association of Tantra Professionals.

“If you want to have better sex and more satisfying intimate relationships, the place to begin is with yourself—and, more specifically, with your relationship to your own sexuality.”
